It’s a Fact, Not a Flex, that Kelly Daughtry Has Zero Path to Victory

RALEIGH, NC – Brad Knott’s campaign today released new survey data indicating Brad Knott has taken an insurmountable lead in the NC-13 congressional runoff and Kelly Daughtry has no (zero) [0] path to victory. Let’s cut to the chase. Our last poll was one month ago. Since the last survey:
- Daughtry has gone from 52% Fav to 31% Fav and 31% Unfav to 56% Unfav.
- Knott has gone from 48% Fav to 63% Fav and 12% Unfav to 21% Unfav.
- On the head-to-head question, the race has shifted dramatically from 42% for Knott/35% for Daughtry to 62% for Knott/23% for Daughtry.
- Put another way, Knott’s lead has grown from 7% to 39%. And, oh yeah, that 19-point lead the Daughtry campaign was trying to sell in early April? Don’t buy a used car from that crowd.
Knott was raised far too polite to give these sort of numbers the credit they deserve, so we’ll yield the floor to campaign advisor Jonathan Felts to offer a brutal-but-accurate assessment where the Walking Dead subject line will make sense:Some fellers get confused between what’s a flex and what’s a fact so, for the more-easily befuddled, let me be very clear that the following are facts, not flexes. Fact one is Daughtry has spent more on her campaign than any other self-funding congressional race in the country. And she has spent it on a campaign that is very deceptive and deceitful on many levels. Fact two is, even after spending all that money, these new survey numbers make it very plain for everyone to see, Daughtry has zero path to victory in the NC-13 runoff. Daughtry has gone from right-side-up to upside down in Fav/Unfav numbers. Daughtry has gone from being down 7 points to being down by 39 points. And she’s lost this ground all while spending so much of her own money, we’ve been at a 3-1 disadvantage in terms of TV ads! But hey, I get it. It’s an internal poll we’re talking about. We spend a ton of money for accuracy since, you know, our mortgages depend on it. But you reporter types have editors who’d be more comfy with the assessment of a bunch of college students doing “survey research” for beer money (no offense Meredith or ECU). Or at least you gotta hear both sides of the story. So, by all means, please call Daughtry’s campaign or her dad’s super-PAC and ask what their internal numbers indicate. My guess is they won’t let you see their numbers. But ask any 4-of-4 Likely Runoff Voter who’s tried to have a pleasant family dinner in the past week, and they’ll tell you, EVERYONE has been in the field recently. At this point, Daughtry’s only hope for success, or at least to get back some of her money her team has squandered, is if the AMC Network would green-light another Walking Dead spinoff but make it where the Zombies are self-funder political campaigns already dead but still wandering aimlessly as shameless grifter consultants try to get one more ad buy out of them. Except Daughtry is hiding from reporters and voters alike, so you can’t even say her campaign is the walking dead, it’s just dead.
About Brad Knott

Knott secured a conviction and a sentence of 60 years for one of the largest heroin dealers in Eastern NC in the last case he prosecuted. Now, Knott wants to take his fight to the level and help President Trump secure our Southern border and fight for the America First agenda that protects and promotes American jobs as the top priority.
